Obstetric labour table is a specialized medical bed used in hospitals and maternity wards to support patients during childbirth, gynaecological examinations, and delivery procedures.
Key Features and Design
• Three-Section Top: Includes an adjustable backrest, a fixed middle section (often with a U-cut for clinical access), and a sliding leg section that can tuck under the main frame.
• Positioning Support: Supports the lithotomy position (legs elevated in stirrups) and Trendelenburg positioning (tilted body position) via manual ratchets, gas springs, or hydraulic/electric controls.
• Standard Accessories: Comes equipped with padded hand grips, side safety railings, lithotomy rods or crutches, an IV pole, and a stainless-steel waste collection basin.
• Materials: Built from stainless steel (SS 304) or epoxy powder-coated mild steel for rust resistance, strength, and easy sanitation.
